Ingleton Swimming Pool offers a range of special and fund-raising events through the course of the year.
Detailed below are some of our forthcoming events:
It's A 'Water' Knockout
Next event 14th June 2009 12.30 to 4pm
Pool closed for general swimming during this event
This event will be a riotous laugh for all the family. Why not pop-in to see the event, or better still why not get a team of 6 members and join in the fun.
Activities may involve:
- Wearing daft outfits
- Getting very wet
- Balance
- Swimming under water
- Jumping in
- Being hit by soft objects
Team Selection Information:
- Each team must consist of 6 members
- Teams must consist of a mixture in terms of ages and gender (at least 2 female/male)
- Minimum age is 11 years
- All team members must be competent in water
- Each team must have a nominated Captain
- Teams require a name, mascot and be easilt recognisable as a team
- This is a 'fun' fund raising activity and all team members must be ready to enter in the spirit of the event
Please note: The will only be 6 teams competing on the day for the winning medals and trophy. Teams will be accepted in order of the organisers receiving the signed form and £10.00 payment. As soon as 6 teams have registered, remaining teams will be put on a reserve list.
Pool Barbeque
Friday 29th May 2009 5:00pm to 7:00pm
This return of the Ingleton Swimming Pool Barbeque!!! This fund raising event is back by popular demand, following the success of a similar event in previous years.
Only £1.50 Admission!!!!
For which you get :
- Unlimited swimming
- Barbeque (food at a small extra cost)
Great fun for all the family!
2009 Swimming Gala

The Swimming Gala as always is a well attended and popular event, especially with regular users of the pool and local residents. A variety of events are competed for, with either cups or medals for the winners.
